2. What personal data we collect

Depending on how you interact with us, we may collect:

• Booking & identity data: first and last name, email address, phone number, date of birth, and driving licence details required to verify eligibility.
• Rental data: pickup and return dates and times, delivery location, chosen vehicle, protection tier, and any extras.
• Payment data: card payments and the refundable security deposit are processed by our payment provider, Stripe. We do not store your full card number; we retain only a payment reference and the status of the charge and deposit.
• Communications: messages you send us by email, WhatsApp or through the website.
• Technical & usage data: IP address, device and browser information, and analytics data collected via cookies (see our Cookie Policy).

3. Why we process your data and our legal bases

• To provide the rental service — process your booking, verify eligibility, arrange delivery, take payment and manage the security deposit. Legal basis: performance of a contract.
• To comply with legal obligations — tax, accounting, and identification requirements applicable to vehicle rental in Spain. Legal basis: legal obligation.
• To communicate with you about your booking and to provide customer support. Legal basis: contract / legitimate interest.
• To improve and secure our website and understand how it is used. Legal basis: legitimate interest, and your consent for non-essential analytics cookies.

4. Who we share your data with

We share personal data only with service providers who help us operate, acting as our data processors under appropriate agreements:

• Stripe — payment processing and deposit handling.
• Booqable — fleet and rental order management.
• Resend — sending booking confirmation and notification emails.
• Cloudinary — image hosting.
• Vercel — website hosting and infrastructure.
• Google — website analytics (only if you accept analytics cookies).

We do not sell your personal data. Where a provider processes data outside the European Economic Area, that transfer is protected by appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses.

5. How long we keep your data

We keep booking and transaction records for as long as necessary to provide the service and to meet our legal, tax and accounting obligations in Spain (generally up to the periods required by applicable law). Analytics data is retained for a limited period in line with our cookie settings. When data is no longer needed, we delete or anonymise it.

6. Your rights

Under the GDPR and LOPDGDD you have the right to access, rectify or erase your personal data, to restrict or object to processing, to data portability, and to withdraw consent at any time (without affecting processing carried out before withdrawal). You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (Agencia Española de Protección de Datos, AEPD, www.aepd.es) if you believe your data has not been handled correctly.
